The actions board

Every client has an Actions tab. It holds the things somebody agreed to do in one place: the follow-ups, the promises, the “I’ll send that over”. They don’t live only in the note where they were mentioned.

Where do actions come from?

Most of them arrive on their own. When Praktor reads a log, anything that sounds like a commitment becomes an action on the board. You don’t copy them across.

You can also add one yourself with Add an action, for work that never came up in a logged conversation.

How the board is laid out

Three columns: To do, In progress and Done. On a phone they stack; on a wider screen they sit side by side. Anything you’ve dismissed is kept separately, out of the way but not gone.

Each action carries:

• What needs to be done: the action itself.
• Priority: High, Medium or Low.
• Whose side: Our team, Client’s side, or Both sides. This is the field that stops a board becoming a to-do list of things you’re actually waiting on someone else for.
• Assign to: a person on the client’s team, or nobody.
• Due date: optional.

How do I move something along?

Open the action and use Move to. The card moves to that column for everyone on the client.

If an action isn’t real, because the AI misread a passing remark or the work was overtaken, dismiss it rather than marking it done. Dismissed actions stay searchable, so a board with an honest history is more useful later than a tidy one.

Who can change an action?

Client managers and editors can add, edit, move, dismiss and comment. Viewers can see the board and read it, but not change it. Workspace owners and admins can do everything on every client.

What if you don’t want this?

Under Client settings → Intelligence you can turn off automatic actions for a client, and Praktor will still analyse the note without putting anything on the board. The same page has a sensitivity setting: turn it down and only explicit commitments become actions, turn it up and anything that sounds actionable does.
