Quick start

This walks you through your first session in Praktor. When you sign up, Praktor creates a workspace for your company. This is where your clients, interactions and team live.

1. Set your name

Straight after signing up, you’ll be asked for your name. This is how colleagues see you on logs and comments, so use your real name.

2. Create your first client

From the Clients page, choose New Client and give it a name. You can also add an industry, mark it Active or Prospect, and record a contract value and renewal date, but a name is all you need to start. You’ll land on the client’s dashboard, and you’re automatically set up as its manager.

On the Free plan you can track up to 15 clients, Pro 50 and Business 250.

3. Log your first interaction

On the client, choose New Log and either:

• Speak a recap: record a short summary of your call or meeting in your own words, or upload an audio file; or
• Type a note: write the summary directly.

Save it. Praktor reads your note in the background and fills in the sentiment, risks, opportunities and more once it has finished. You can leave the page and come back.

A voice log is your spoken summary of what happened, not a recording of the meeting itself.

4. See the insights

Once analysis finishes, the client’s dashboard comes to life: a health score, the top risk, recent sentiment, and the people mentioned in your note appear automatically. The more you log, the sharper the picture gets. Learn how to read it all in Risks, Opportunities and Health score.

5. Ask the assistant

Open the Assistant tab on the client and ask something like “What should I know before my next call?” You’ll get a briefing built from everything logged so far. See Ask the assistant.

6. Bring in your team

Ready to collaborate? Invite colleagues and decide who can see and do what. See Invite your team.
