Connected apps
Connect an AI app to your workspace so it can read your clients and log notes for you, with permissions you choose.

You can connect an AI app you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your Praktor workspace. Ask it about your clients in its own chat window and it answers from your real records, and it can log notes back for you.
A connected app acts as you: it sees what you see, does only what you can do, and works in one workspace. It is connected for you alone, so a colleague who wants the same connects their own.
What a connected app can do today
With full permissions, a connected app can:
- Look up your clients and open one’s overview, with its health score and contacts
- Read your logs, search across them, and follow one contact’s history
- See the actions board, and the risks and opportunities Praktor has found
- Tell you which contracts are renewing soon, and which clients are flagged as at risk
- Log a note for a client, which is then analysed exactly like one you typed yourself
That last one is the only thing it can change today. It cannot create clients, edit anything that already exists, or delete anything at all.
Connecting an app
Start from the app’s own settings, wherever it lists what it can connect to, and point it at Praktor. An approval screen names the app and shows what it is asking for. Nothing is connected until you choose Connect.
If Praktor does not recognise the app, the screen says so. Only connect apps you trust: an app you approve can read your clients’ information.
Choosing what it can reach
The approval screen offers three choices:

Under Customise, each area has its own level:

| Risks & opportunities | No access, or Read |
Actions offers a write level, but nothing can use it yet: no connected app can add, change or comment on an action today. Logging a note is still the only change an app can make.
Turning an area off is enforced, not advisory. If you give an app no access to your notes and then ask it to search them, it will tell you it has not been allowed to.
It can never do more than you can
Your own permissions still apply. If you work on three clients, your connected app reaches those three and no others. It cannot see another workspace or reach past what your role allows, and a note it logs uses credits exactly as your own notes do.
Seeing what an app did
Notes logged by a connected app appear in the client’s timeline like any other, under your name, because the app acted as you. To tell them apart, open Settings › Audit log: writes made by a connected app are marked Via the app’s name.
Changing or disconnecting
Settings › Connected apps lists everything you have connected, when, and when it was last used. From there you can change an app’s permissions or disconnect it. A disconnected app loses access immediately, and you can connect it again later.
An app stays pinned to the workspace it was approved for, so if you move to a different one it stops working until you connect it again.
